Unique home. Great area to visit.
“ Rob met us and showed us the property, explaining how to do everything. He provided an excellent activities guide with hiking information and other tourist stuff. We visited the Grand Canyon as well as most of the national monuments in the Flagstaff area: Wupatki, Sunset Crater, Walnut Canyon. Fascinating history. We did the lava river cave hike close to the property-different and challenging. We took the pink jeep tour in Sedona to the ancient ruins-highly recommended. Ate at two DDD (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) places in Flagstaff. Also highly recommended.
Good vacation. We highly recommend the Mountain Star. “
Mountain Star was everything it promised and more.
“ I stayed at the Mountain Star with four others and we all can not say enough good things to relay how wonderful our stay was. The view is fantastic and the cabin itself is exactly as described. Rob is fantastic and will provide everything you will need. Don't miss out on his excellent trail recommendations! ”Barbara M.
Fabulous for our family!
“ It's a good as it looks in pictures and better. Rob is wonderful to work with and has so much pride in his place, and it shows. We spent a week here with a family of 7 adults. We were very comfortable and not too far from a multitude of things to do - the Grand Canyon, Sedona, hiking, the lava rivercave, the Snow Bowl. Being at the Mt. Star was definitely a highlight. ”Stephanie S.
My Stay In Arizona
“ On the way to the Grand Canyon, I spent a few nights at the Mountain Star. It was supposed to be a pit stop, but it ended up being the highlight of my trip. From viewing the moon through celestial binoculars (a breathtaking experience), to joining the owner, Rob, making music or practising yoga, from exploring the mountains on your doorstep to just relaxing on the balcony with a beer in the sunshine... it was a wonderful experience and I can't recommend it highly enough. Rob is an excellent host, instinctively providing the perfect balance between being welcoming and inclusive, to leaving you to enjoy your own space and time as desired. ”Jane D.
